We at Kanoo Travel are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Business Development Manager holding the position of a Sales Manager to be based in Abu Dhabi

who will be responsible for escalating the business by reaching out to bring in Medium – Large size corporate clients.

We are looking for talent that is social and confident with a customer-focused service attitude.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in Abu Dhabi and the surrounding areas.

– Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets, providing ongoing training and support as needed.

– As a Business Development Manager you have to monitor sales performance and track progress towards achieving target revenues, taking proactive measures to address any deviations and ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.

– Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to enhance the company’s market presence and revenue streams.

– Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and travel partners to maximize sales opportunities and customer satisfaction.

– Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation in our products and services.

– Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, sales collateral, and pricing strategies to drive sales and enhance brand awareness.

– Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets for management review, and provide insights and recommendations for business growth.

– Stay up-to-date on Request for Proposal (RFP) dates from government entities and major accounts in the market, coordinating timely responses and engagement strategies to secure lucrative contracts and partnerships.

Business Development Manager Requirements:

– Minimum 5 years corporate travel sales experience in the UAE travel services industry.

– Minimum qualification of a graduate-level degree in any field.

– Prior travel operations experience or someone who has moved from operations to sales is preferable.

– Must have a proven track record of contracting mid to large-volume clients. Strong client prospect pipeline that can be converted in a short-term period.

– Ability to sell Business / transient travel, Marine & Offshore and Meetings & Events

– Experience/knowledge of Corporate Online Booking Tool (OBT) solutions

– Needs to work independently.

– UAE driver’s license is mandatory.
