We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Barista to lead our coffee service team. As a Senior Barista, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of coffee quality and customer service. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of coffee varieties, and brewing techniques, and the ability to mentor and guide junior baristas.


Barista Responsibilities:

1. **Coffee Preparation:**

– Expertly prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, and pour-over, adhering to established recipes and quality standards.

– Ensure the consistency of coffee taste, presentation, and temperature.

2. **Customer Service:**

– Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, answering questions about coffee options, and offering recommendations.

– Handle customer feedback and concerns with professionalism and a commitment to resolution.

3. **Team Leadership:**

– Mentored and trained junior baristas in coffee preparation techniques, customer service, and overall job responsibilities.

– Assist in scheduling and coordinating barista shifts.

4. **Quality Control:**

– Monitor and maintain the quality of coffee beans, ensuring freshness and proper storage.

– Conduct regular equipment maintenance and report any issues promptly.

5. **Menu Development:**

– Contribute to the development of new coffee menu items, seasonal specials, and promotions.

– Stay informed about industry trends and recommend updates to the coffee menu.

6. **Inventory Management:**

– Manage coffee bean inventory, track usage, and place orders to ensure an adequate supply.

– Collaborate with management on cost control measures related to coffee supplies.

7. **Training and Development:**

– Stay updated on coffee industry trends, brewing methods, and equipment advancements.

– Provide ongoing training to staff on new coffee offerings and techniques.



1. Proven experience as a Barista, with a focus on high-quality coffee preparation.

2. Strong knowledge of various coffee beans, brewing methods, and equipment.

3. Leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to guide and develop a team.

4. Excellent customer service and communication skills.

5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

6. Basic math skills for handling transactions and making changes.

7. Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays.
